OCALA, Florida, Feb. 15, 2025–Canada’s Denielle Gallagher and Come Back de Massa posted a personal best score to win the World Equestrian Center CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday to move into a three-way tie in qualifying for the $250,000 US Open final.
Denielle, based in the Ocala area community of Morriston, and the 13-year-old Lusitano gelding scored 72.940% for the win.
Eline Eckroth of Ocala on the 14-year-old Oldenburg mare Daphne also scored a personal best 71.055% for runner-up. The partnership posted a personal best in the Grand Prix Friday to also place second.
James Koford of Southern Pines, North Carolina, on the 13-year-old KWPN gelding Hatsjie B was awarded 69.980% for third.
Denielle is tied with Geñay Vaughn of Elk Grove, California Evelyn Eger of Germany on 40 points.
