LIPICA, Slovenia, May 28, 2022–Austria’s Isabella Willibald and Richterhof’s Farbenfroh won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday with a personal best score for the second time at this event.
Isabella and the nine-year-old Bavarian gelding were awarded 71.021% for the win exactly a year after the pair’s first Big Tour start. The duo posted a personal best Grand Prix result two days ago.
Bettina Kendlbacher, also of Austria, rode the nine-year-old Austrian Warmblood Don Alfredo to second place on 70.319%.
France’s Alexandre Ayache and Jolene in the first international competition for 10-year-old Danish Warmblood mare were third on 68.617%. The pair won the Grand Prix Thursday.
