AALBORG, Denmark, May 18, 2019–Sweden’s Johanna Due Boje rode Mazy Klovenhoj to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday in the first Big Tour event for the 11-year-old Swedish Warmblood mare.
Johanna and Mazy Klovenhoj, popularly nicknamed “Amazing Mazy,” scored 75.115% for the win. The rider who competed for Sweden in European Junior and Young Rider Championships while being coached by Dutch superstar Anky van Grunsven and Mazy placed 10th in the pair’s debut CDI Grand Prix Thursday.
Denmark’s Nanna Skodborg Merrald on Saadan Que scored 73.700% for second place in what was also the first Big Tour competition for the 11-year-old Danish Warmblood mare.
Mikaela Fabricius-Bjerre of Finland on Skovlunds Gamin G were third on 73.215%.
