DEAUVILLE, France, Sept. 4, 2026–Lewis Carrier on Diego V, the 18-year-old horse he has partnered for the gelding’s career, won the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday.
Lewis and the Dutch-bred Diego that have been on British teams from young riders in 2018 to under-25s in 2021 scored 71.522% for the pair’s second CDI victory this year.
Belgium’s Jeroen Devroe on Jackpot, 12-year-old KWPN gelding, was runner-up on 70.283%.
Corentin Pottier of France and San Cloud’s Lucky posted a personal best 70.218% after taking over the ride on the 13-year-old Hanoverian gelding a year ago.
