Isabell Werth, the most decorated equestrian in history, will give a clinic at an open house at Helgstrand Dressage in Wellington Feb. 21 after competing in a World Cup qualifier at Global Dressage Festival.
The clinic will be staged from 5-7 p.m. on Saturday Feb. 21 at 4452 South Shore Blvd., Wellington.
Isabell will “share her insight, expertise, and mastery of dressage,” said Lars Petersen, who manages the Helgstrand operation in Wellington.
“This is a rare opportunity to witness excellence at the highest level and be inspired by a true icon of our sport,” he said.
The clinic program is still being worked out but could include Isabell riding a couple of horses and critiquing some other riders performing.
Refreshments will be available at the clinic.

Isabell plans to ride DSP Quantaz, the 16-year-old gelding on which she was reserve champion at the 2025 World Cup Final, during the qualifier in Wellington. The Grand Prix will be staged Thursday Feb. 19 and the Freestyle on Friday night under lights at the Global grounds.
The appearance by the seven-time German Olympian comes a month after a Dressage Infusion masterclass by Kyra Kyrklund, Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and Jan Brink at Global Jan. 21 presented by 3 Graces Dressage and Wellington International.
Isabell has earned 14 Olympic medals, including eight gold.
In addition to her Olympic career from her first Games in 1992 to Paris in 2024 she has competed in seven World Equestrian Games/World Championships, 26 World Cup Finals in which she was champion five times, and 17 European Championships.
“Sixteen years ago, I competed in Wellington for the first time with Satchmo,” Isabell recalled. “I have fond memories of my time there and I am excited to compete there once again in 2026.
“I look forward to sunny skies in February and welcoming dressage fans at the renowned Adequan Global Dressage Festival.”
Ranked eighth in Western Europe after competing in two qualifiers with more to go and full points available at the Global event, Isabell appears likely to qualify for the Final in Fort Worth, Texas in April.
