WELLINGTON, Florida, Dec. 10, 2025–Isabell Werth, the most decorated equestrian in history, will compete in the World Cup qualifier at the Global Dressage Festival Feb. 18-22.

Isabell’s participation in the competition presented by Zen Elite Equestrian will be a highlight of the Global season at Wellington International.

The appearance by the seven-time German Olympian comes a month after a Dressage Infusion masterclass by Kyra Kyrklund, Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and Jan Brink at Global Jan. 21.

“Isabell’s participation is an honor for the Adequan® Global Dressage Festival and a testament to what Wellington International continues to build: a stage where the world’s greatest athletes choose to compete for generations to come,” said Thomas Baur, Director of Sport at the dressage festival. “Her influence on the sport is unrivaled, and having her here elevates our event, inspires our community and strengthens our position as a premier venue for international dressage.”

Isabell is the most successful equestrian in history with 14 Olympic medals, including eight gold.

In addition to her Olympic career from her first Games in 1992 to Paris last year, she has competed in seven World Equestrian Games/World Championships, 26 World Cup Finals in which she was champion five times, and 17 European Championships.

“Sixteen years ago, I competed in Wellington for the first time with Satchmo,” Isabell recalled. “I have fond memories of my time there and I am excited to compete there once again in 2026.

“I look forward to sunny skies in February and welcoming dressage fans at the renowned Adequan Global Dressage Festival.”
