US Equestrian has updated its Dressage Pathway Program lists that are absent any riders designated as Elite as none have met the minimum scores, with the top Americans placed in the Pre-Elite category.

The lists covering Elite, Pre-Elite, Development, Emerging Young Horse and Youth programs are based on competition results within the past 12 months and supported by Christine Traurig, US Chef d’Equipe as well as coach of Development and Young Horses, and George Williams, the Pathway Development Advisor and Youth coach.

With the Elite program requiring two CDI Grand Prix scores of 74% only Adrienne Lyle on Helix has posted one result, from a CDI in Wellington in January, the four top combinations are named to the Pre-Elite program. They are:

–Adrienne Lyle of Wellington, Florida and Helix, 13-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Zen Elite Equestrian Center;
–Anna Marek of Dunnellon, Florida and Fayvel, 15-year-old KWPN gelding owned by Cynthia Davila;
–Marcus Orlob of Loxahatchee, Florida and Jane, 11-year-old KWPN mare owned by Alice Tarjan, and
–Endel Ots of Wellington and Zen Elite’s Bohemian, 15-year-old Westfalen gelding owned by Zen Elite Equestrian Center.

“USA Dressage is in a period of rebuilding following the retirement of many of our successful and seasoned Grand Prix horses in recent years and there are many exciting combinations for the future within the base of our pathway programs,” said Laura Roberts, USEF Managing Director of Dressage. “We felt, collectively, our program requirements needed strengthening to ensure we remain focused on the goal to be competitive internationally. I look forward to working with our coaching staff and the combinations named to our USEF Dressage Pathway Programs, as well as our Observation List, to foster their talent and watch them progress over the coming months.”

The coaching staff will be expanded within the next few weeks.

In conjunction with the Pathway Programs, USEF has established an Observation List designed to identify rider-horse combinations with the potential to advance to the Pre-Elite or Elite Programs or to achieve podium finishes at the 2026 World Championships, Olympics or international championship level.

In addition to six official training opportunities already held in Florida and California sessions will be staged in Evergreen, Colorado, on June 28-29, featuring clinician Shelly Francis, in Lexington, Kentucky Oct. 11-12, with clinician to be announced and in Gladstone, New Jersey Oct. 18-19 led by Marcus Orlob.

The Pathway Programs are supported in part by Akiko Yamazaki and Four Winds Farm of Woodside, California, where a training & evaluation session for all levels of the program will be staged July 18-19.
