BALVE, Germany, June 9, 2024–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl on TSF Dalera BB won the Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday for a sweep of the German Championships for the second year in a row.
Jessica and the 17-year-old Trakehner mare was awarded 89.600% for the win after earlier capturing the Special and the Grand Prix to extend the pair’s unbeaten record back to the Tokyo Olympics. Final selection for the Paris Games will be at Aachen, Germany the first week of July.
Frederic Wandres on Duke of Britain FRH, the 17-year-old British-bred Hanoverian, was runner-up on 83.450%. Frederic on Bluetooth OLD was second to Jessica in both the Special and the Grand Prix but he opted for Duke in the musical performance.
Sönke Rothenberger on the 10-year-old Fendi was awarded 81.125% to place third.
