PÄRNU, Estonia, May 26, 2024–Poland’s Sandra Sysojeva and Maxima Bella won their debut World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle on a personal best score Sunday.

Sandra and the eight-year-old Oldenburg mare scored 77.335% for the eighth win in 10 starts since beginning Big Tour in February. The musical performance victory came a day after winning the Grand Prix, also on a personal best score of 72.435%.

Sandra switched from Lithuanian to Polish citizenship at the end of last year to improve her chances of making it to the Paris Olympics.

Sandra developed Maxima Bella through young horse classes including the World Young Horse Championships as a five-year-old in 2021.

Finland’s Ville Vaurio on Dante NL was runner-up on 70.800% with Dalia Katinaite-Pranckeviciene of Lithuania on Amica third on 70.195%.

The next Central European League World Cup is scheduled for Riga, Latvia June 6-9.
