‘s-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, Mar. 9, 2024–Isabell Werth and DSP Quantaz were the clear winners of the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday14-year-old German Sport Horse to top the championship standings and to earn an invitation to the German superstar’s 25th Final.
Isabell and the German Sport Horse gelding were awarded 85.250% for the victory in the last qualifier in Western Europe to earn a total of 77 points. She competed both Quataz and Emilio for three wins and a second place to earn one of nine starting places from Western Europe for the Final in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia next month.
Charlotte “Lottie” Fry of Great Britain on the 15-year-old KWPN stallion Everdale was runner-up on 82.250% to earn enough points also earn an invitation to the Final.
The Netherlands’ Emmelie Scholtens on Indian Rock, 11-year-old KWPN stallion, placed third on 82.095% , also enough to get an invitation to Riyadh.
Patrik Kittel of Sweden had topped the standings before this event and will get an invite to Riyadh as will Matthias Alexander Rath of Germany.
The three places for the North America have also been decided: Benjamin Ebeling, Anna Marek and Kevin Kohmann, all from the U.S.
