Sweden’s dressage team for the world championships at Herning, Denmark next month.
The team:
Jeanna Högberg, 40 years old, and Astoria, 10-year-old Swedish Warmblood mare, owned by Christina Olsson, Hipponews KB
Patrik Kittel, 46, and Touchdown, 10-year-old Swedish Warmblood stallion, owned by Sommarkvarn AB
Therese Nilshagen, 39, and Dante Weltino OLD, 15-year-old Oldenburg stallion, owned by Therese & Dressurpferde Leistungsz
Juliette Ramel, 35, and Buriel K.H, 16-year-old KWPN gelding, owned by La Pomme HB

Jeanna Hogberg and Astoria began their international career at the World Young Horse Championships in 2017 when the horse was five years old. The pair competed at the championships again in 2018 then in 2019 won the preliminary test as a seven-year-old. The duo rode on Sweden’s Nations Cup team at Rotterdam last month.
Patrik Kittel is a three-time Olympian and this will be his fourth world championship. He has competed in nine World Cup Finals and six European Championships. This will be the first championships for Touchdown that the Germany-based Patrik began competing at Big Tour 10 months ago and included two Nations Cup team events this year.
Therese rode the breeding stallion at the Tokyo Olympics and the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon on the fourth placed Swedish team. She and Dante Weltino were on the bronze medal teams at both the 2017 and 2019 European Championships, and the squad that placed fourth in 2021.
Juliette Ramel and Buriel KH were on Sweden’s teams at the Tokyo Olympics and the 2016 Games, the 2018 Tryon WEG and the 2019 and 2021 Europeans. Julietta competed at the 2005 European Junior Rider Championships and the 2006 Europeans for Young Riders.
