SEGOVIA, Spain, July 10, 2022–Pedro Manuel Tavares De Almeida and Famous do Vouga won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Sunday for a double victory and another personal best score.

The Brazilan Olympic and world championship rider and the 12-year-old home-bred Lusitano gelding scored 72.426% for the win and the first two Big Tour victories.

The pair’s first victory in 14 months of CDI competition in Europe was in the Grand Prix two days earlier, also on a personal best score.

Spain’s Antonio Blanco Pietro and Fergas Tetti, a 12-year-old KWPN mare,  were second on 66.426.

Fellow Spaniard Antonio Verdejo Pérez and Epico das Figueiras, 13-year-old Lusitano gelding, were third on 66.340%.
