British Equestrian and the British Dressage selectors Wednesday nominated nine rider and horse combinations and three reserves from which the team of four will be selected for the Olympic Games in Tokyo. The squad of four to go to Tokyo will be named June 28.

Nominated entries are:

    • Fiona Bigwood, 45, and her own Hawtins Delicato, 13-year-old British-bred Hanoverian gelding
    • Richard Davison, 65, and Bubblingh, 15-year-old homebred KWPN gelding
    • Charlotte Dujardin, 35, and Mount St John Freestyle 12-year-old Hanoverian mare
    • Emile Faurie, 57, and Dono di Maggio OLD, 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding
    • Charlotte Fry, 25, and Everdale, 12-year-old KWPN stallion
    • Carl Hester, 53, and En Vogue, 12-year-old KWPN gelding
    • Gareth Hughes, 50, and Sintano Van Hof Olympia, 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding,
    • Susan Pape, 58, and Harmony’s Eclectisch, 12-year-old KWPN stallion
    • Laura Tomlinson, 36, and DSP Rose of Bavaria, 11-year-old German Sport Horse mare

Reserves

  • Charlotte Dujardin and Gio, 10-year-old KWPN gelding
  • Charlotte Fry and Dark Legend, 13-year-old KWPN gelding
  • Gareth Hughes and KK Dominant, 12-year-old Oldenburg stallion
