OPGLABBEEK, Netherlands, April 24, 2021–Edward Gal rode Glock’s Toto Jr. to victory in the Sentower Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday.
Edward and the Totilas son, a 10-year-old Hanoverian stallion, were awarded 77.958% for the win, a day after placing second behind Glock’s Total US, another Totilas son that was also ridden by Edward who is scheduled to compete in the Freestyle Sunday.
Hans Peter Minderhoud on Glock’s Dream Boy was second in the Special on 74.149%.
Great Britain’s Gareth Hughes on Sintano van Hof Olympia was third in 72.404% in the first Big Tour event for the 11-year-old Oldenburg gelding.
There were big disparities in the scoring. Some examples: Edward and Toto received a high score of 81.809% and a low of 73.617%; Hans Peter and Dream Boy a high of 77.021% and a low of 71.702% and Adelinde Cornelissen a high of 74.255% and a low of 65.638%.
