LIER, Belgium, May 23, 2026–Justin Verboomen on Zonik Plus led Belgium to an overwhelming victory in the CDIO4* Nations Cup Saturday, repeating the top placing from 2025 that was the country’s first victory in 14 years of the trans-Atlantic series.
Justin on the 10-year-old stallion was the top placed combination on 80.391% with team mate Larissa Pauluis on her two-time Olympic partner Flambeau, 16-year-old gelding, individual runner-up on 73.522%. Belgium won the team competition at this same show grounds a year ago.
This was the fourth score of 80+% for Justin and Zonik in five Grand Prix since last October.
