WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 28, 2026–Fleau de Baian ridden by Christian Simonson captured the Global Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix Special on a personal best score Saturday.
The win by Christian and the 16-year-old Dutch-bred stallion on a score of 71.255% was their second at Big Tour since the Dutch-bred stallion was acquired by Zen Elite Equestrian Center from Netherlands team rider Adelinde Cornelissen.
Christian and Fleau de Baian reversed the finishing order of the Grand Prix where they placed second behind Zen Elite’s Bohemian.
Zen Elite’s Bohemian that was on Denmark’s team with Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and won the Grand Prix with Endel Ots aboard was runner-up Saturday on 69.681%.
Germany’s Michael Klimke on the U.S.-owned Harmony’s Dante’s Peak placed third on 68.915%. The 10-year-old gelding began his Big Tour career with Michael at these same show grounds a year ago.
