OCALA, Florida, Jan. 31, 2026–Charlotte Osborne rode the 18-year-old Fruhlingszauber to victory on a personal best score in the World Equestrian Center’s CDI3* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday.

The score of 70.775% following victory in the Grand Prix Friday, also on a personal best, was the first double win for the partnership of the American-based British rider and the Austrian-bred gelding.

Charlotte, 34, moved to the U.S. 10 years ago and is based in Canton, Georgia with her husband and two children.

Fruhlingszauber was sent to Osborne to sell more than two years ago and sold shortly after. Lisa Carol, the new owner, later asked Charlotte to resume training of Fruhlingszauber.

At last November’s WEC CDI3*, the duo won the Freestyle for their first international victory.

Nora Batchelder and Nova, the only combination qualifying for the Grand Prix Special, scored 67.681%. Nora of the Ocala area community of Williston and the mare now aged 11 won the U.S. Developing Grand Prix championship in 2024.
