KRONBERG, Germany, July 13, 2025–Germany’s Moritz Treffinger rode Cadeau Noir to a personal best score to capture European Under-25 Freestyle Championship gold Sunday.
Moritz, aged 22, and the 15-year-old black Hanoverian stallion scored 80.400% for the victory to add to the pair’s team gold and individual silver. The combination won team gold and individual bronze in last year’s U25 championships.
Sara Aagaard Hyrm of Denmark on the 11-year-old Danish gelding Atterupgaards Cooper earned silver on 79.925%.
Felicitas Hendricks and her Drombusch OLD, 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding, took bronze to add to her team gold in what was the rider’s U25 finale. The pair, successful on the Global Dressage Festival winter circuit in Wellington, Florida the past three years, were team and individual gold medalists at the 2023 U-25 championships.
