MUNICH, Germany, May 30, 2025–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Diallo won the CDI5* Grand Prix Friday the second victory in three starts for the 10-year-old gelding one of the possible successors to the rider’s now retired double Olympic team and individual gold medal partner TSF Dalera BB.

Jessica and the Hanoverian gelding were awarded 73.391% for the victory just a month after capturing the CDI3* Grand Prix Special at Hagen, Germany last month that was the first Big Tour event for the pair.

Jessica and Diallo have not yet been ranked after the retirement last year of Dalera, her mount for team and individual gold at Tokyo and Paris Games as well as World Cup champion in 2022 and 2023.

Sweden’s Patrick Kittel on Dante’s Herzchen, the 11-year-old Hanoverian mare he took over riding from his wife, Lyndal Oatley of Australia, was runner-up on 71.848%.

Dorothee Schneider, also of Germany, and the 13-year-old gelding Dayman placed third on 71.022%.

In the CDI3*, Lisa Müller and Gut Wettlkam’s Zonik Hit OLD won the Grand Prix Special for the German rider’s second victory on the 12-year-old gelding this year.

The pair scored 70.489% for the win. Fellow German Franziska Stieglmaier on Samurai, 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding, was runner-up on 69.553%.
