Eight American rider and horse combinations are entered in Germany’s Hagen CDI3* in two weeks ahead of the premier World Equestrian Festival CDIO5* Nations Cup competition in Aachen.

Entries for the Hagen competition as reported by the US Federation and supported by The Dutta Corporation providing air transportation for many horses are:

–Ben Ebeling and Bellena, 15-year-old Hanoverian mare;

–Susan Dutta and Don Design DC, 15-year-old Hanoverian gelding;

–Devon Kane and Vamos, 13-year-old Westfalen gelding;

–Kevin Kohmann and Dünensee, 16-year-old Hanoverian gelding;

–Erin Nichols and Elian Royale. 16-year-old KWPN gelding;

–Marcus Orlob and Jane, 11-year-old KWPN mare;

–Kasey Perry-Glass and Heartbeat W.P., 13-year-old KWPN gelding, and;

–Jennifer Williams and Joppe K, 11-year-old KWPN

All the riders are based in Wellington, Florida except for Erin Nichols who is based in Yorba Linda, California.

Four combinations will be selected after Hagen for the CDIO5* Nations Cup in Aachen, the first week of July.

Marcus, on the 2024 Olympic team  has been with Jane in Germany since the beginning of May and plans to remain until the end of July. The duo won both the Grad Prix and the Special in a CDI3* at Aachen earlier this week, their first European competition since the Paris Games. However, Marcus and Jane posted four straight wins at Wellington’s Global Dressage Festival over the winter.

Kevin Kohmann is reunited with Dünensee, the horse he rode in both the 2024 and 2025 World Cup Finals but left in Europe after the championship in Basel, Switzerland last month. He also has with him Scala, the 10-year-old Hanoverian mare on which he is ranked No. 1 in the world at CDI1* level and has been invited to compete at Small Tour at the Aachen CHIO, and Eleganté, nine-year-old Westfalen mare.
