MANNHEIM, Germany, May 4, 2025–Finland’s Henri Ruoste on Tiffanys Diamond was declared winner of the CDI4* Grand Prix Special Sunday on a tied score with Sönke Rothenberger of Germany on Fendi.
Both Henri on the 13-year-old mare and Sönke Rothenberger and the 11-year-old gelding, both Danish-bred horses, were awarded 71.660%. Henri and Tiffany’s Diamond were placed first and Sonke and Fendi runner-up.
Sönke and Fendi recovered from an uncharacteristic and disappointing Grand Prix a day earlier when the German rider was awarded 66.805% for ninth place with costly errors midway through the ride.
Dorothee Schneider on First Romance placed third on 71.255%. Dorothee and the 15-year-old gelding won the Grand Prix.
