A fourth World Cup qualifier will be staged in Wellington as a replacement for a hurricane-canceled event a month ago to restore to 10 the total for the 2024-25 North American lineup of shows leading to the championship Final next April.

The four Global Dressage Festival qualifiers are scheduled for Jan. 8-12, Jan. 22-26, Feb. 5-9 and Feb. 26-Mar. 2. A fifth for Florida is on the calendar for the World Equestrian Center in Ocala Dec. 11-15.

One of three in California is scheduled for Thermal this week.

Two have already been held, one in the U.S. and one in Mexico. A qualifier scheduled for TerraNova in Florida a month ago was canceled following a pair of hurricanes in the area a month ago.

Florida-based rider Kevin Kohmann on Dünensee was the winner of both in his quest for one of three spots allocated to North America. Devon Kane, his wife, and Canada’s Tanya Strasser-Shostak are tied for second.
