FRANKFURT, Germany, Dec. 20, 2024—German superstar Isabell Werth rode DSP Quantaz to victory in the CDI5* Grand Prix Friday, the seventh win for the partnership this year.
Isabell and the 14-year-old German Sport Horse gelding that were medalists at the 2022 World and 2023 European championships scored 75.022% for the win. Isabell is the most decorated Olympic equestrian and ranked sixth all time with 14 medals.
Compatriot Katharina Hemmer on Denoix PCH, 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding owned by American Nancy Gooding and German Olympian and coach Hubertus Schmidt, was runner-up on 73.283%.
Germany’s Laura Strobel on the 13-year-old Westfalen stallion Valparaiso placed third on 71.717%.
