DONAUESCHINGEN, Germany, Sept. 12, 2024–Germany’s Helen Erbe rode Carlos FRH to victory in the CDI4* Grand Prix Thursday, a fraction of a point ahead of Helen Langehanenberg on Facilone FRH.
Helen Erbe and the 17-year-old Carlos, a Rhinelander gelding scored 71.196% for the second Big Tour win this year. The partnership earned Freestyle gold at the 2023 European Under-25 Championships and silver at this year’s U-25 championships,
Helen Langehanenberg and the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding that she has been competing at CDI for four months was runner-up on 71.130%.
Dorothee Schneider and Dayman, 12-year-old Westfalen gelding, placed third on 69.609%.
