The debut international performances of Endel Ots on Zen Elite’s Bohemian and Adrienne Lyle on Lars van de Hoenderheide have boosted the rider and horse combinations into the top group seeking to qualify for a European tour to decide the United States team for the Olympics in Paris in four months.
Sarah Tubman of Wellington, Florida on First Apple remains atop the official U.S. Equestrian Federation standings released Monday although the pair have not competed since the Pan American Games gold medal team last October with an average of 73.469% for the Grand Prix and the Special. Steffen Peters of San Diego, California on Suppenkasper stands second with results from three shows for an average of 73.145%.

Adrienne Lyle, also based in Wellington, and the 13-year-old Belgian Warmblood gelding Lars van de Hoenderheide is now fourth on 71.922%.

Bohemian, Lars and Helix were bought by Zen Elite Equestrian Center of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida at the end of 2023 as U.S. team prospects.
The rankings could change again dramatically at the end of this current week with Adrienne entered on both Lars and Helix at Terra Nova near Sarasota on Florida’s west coast which is staging both CDI4* and CDI3* classes.
