WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb. 12, 2024–With riders from 20 nations sharing in Global Dressage Festival prize money, Susan Pape of Great Britain maintained the lead in earnings after three weeks of the seven-week winter circuit.
Susan based in Germany and riding horses for Leslie and John Malone’s Harmony Sport Horses maintained the lead with $9,900 in earnings, according to prize money totals compiled by DRESSAGE-NEWS.com and presented by C&C Insurance.
Germany’s 23-year-old Felicitas Hendricks also did not compete in the past week but her earnings of $9,800 from the first two weeks kept her in second place..
Anna Marek of the Ocala area community of Dunnellon who led the first week’s earnings was back in the Global arena with victories on Fayvel in the World Cup Grand Prix and Freestyle to boost her total earnings to $8,900 and third place in the standings.
Kate Kyros, an Australian youth rider competing in Wellington for the first time, continued her success moving up to fourth on $7,850. She leads a contingent of Aussies that includes Jemma Heran, training with German team rider Frederic Wandres, on $3,240
Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén on $6,700 and Caroline Darcourt on $4,200, both with Sweden’s Lövsta Stuteri, filled the fifth and sixth places.
