MILL SPRING, North Carolina, Oct. 27, 2023–Emily Miles debuted the nine-year-old Sole Mio at Big Tour Friday as one of her two mounts and the only entrants in the Tryon CDI3* Grand Prix.
Emily of LaCygne, Kansas on Java Dulce, 12-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, was placed first on 67.261%. Java Dulce was competed by Emily at Big Tour in both Wellington and Ocala, Florida almost a year ago.
On Sole Mio, a 9-year-old Rhinelander stallion on which Emily became U.S. Developing Grand Prix champion two months ago, was awarded 67.109%.
Emily competed Sole Mio in the World 5-Year-Old Championships in 2018.
