Glock’s Undercover, the KWPN gelding that Edward Gal rode for the Netherlands for team bronze at the 2012 Olympics, has died at the age of 22.

The Glock Horse Performance Center announced that Undercover, nicknamed “Fritsie,” died Sept. 26.

Edward debuted Undercover at Big Tour in April 2016 and four months later the pair was selected for the Dutch team for the London Games where they won team bronze.

The duo competed in World Cup Finals in 2013, 2014 and 2015, the last in Las Vegas where they were reserve champions.

Edward and Undercover won team gold at the 2015 European Championships and team silver at the 2013 Europeans.
