NEUSTADT-DOSSE, Germany, Aug. 18, 2023–Finland’s Emma Kanerva on Greek Air won the CDI4* Friday with the USA’s Kevin Kohmann on Duenensee placed third for the best result in the pair’s current European circuit.
Emma and the 12-year-old stallion Greek Air scored 73.065% for the victory.
Judy Reynolds of Ireland on Rockman Royal NG posted a personal best 70.217% for runner-up. Judy began Big Tour on the 13-year-old Westfalen gelding less than four months ago.
Kevin Kohmann of Wellington, Florida on Duenensee and the 14-year-old Hanoverian stallion placed third on 69.457%.
This was the fourth European CDI competition for Kevin and Duenensee, owned by Diamante Farms, on the summer circuit. The duo began CDI Grand Prix in Florida last March and are on the long list for the American team for the Pan American Games later this year.
