ACHLEITEN, Austria, June 16, 2023–Victoria Max-Theurer on her World Championship mount Birkhof’s Topas FBW won the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday for the seventh victory in 14 Big Tour starts.
Victoria and the 12-year-old Baden-Württemberg stallion were awarded 73.609% for the victory to kick off the second year of the partnership.
Fellow Austrian Lisa Wernitznig and Quintus, 15-year-old Westfalen gelding, was runner-up on 71.435%.
Germany’s Dorothee Schneider, making her Big Tour debut on the 11-year-old Westfalen gelding Dayman, was third of 70.870%. The horse was previously ridden by Sascha Schulz of Luxembourg.
