WINDSOR, England, May 11, 2023–Charlotte Dujardin and Imhotep posted a  personal best score to win the Royal Windsor Horse Show CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Thursday for a double victory in the comeback from a competition break of eight months.

Charlotte and the 10-year-old KWPN gelding scored 83.200% to eclipse the previous best of 83.123% logged at the world championships last August, the last event before Charlotte took time out for the birth of her daughter, Isabella. The pair won the Grand Prix Wednesday.

Gareth Hughes, on the 17-year-old KWPN mare, Classic Briolinca, was runner-up on 80.510%, as the British world championship teammates were in the Grand Prix.

Lewis Carrier on the 15-year-old Diego V also posted a personal best 77.405% to complete a British sweep of the top three places.
