GOTHENBURG, Sweden, Feb. 25, 2023–Denmark’s Carina Cassøe Krüth and Heiline’s Danciera captured the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday to boost her prospects of making it to the Final in Omaha.
Carina and the 12-year-old Danish Warmblood mare scored 86.855% and 20 points for the victory. Added to a qualifier win earlier in the season and one more event in Western Europe the pair move into the top 10 prospects for Omaha and a chance to be one of three Danish combinations.
Isabell Werth, already certain of an invitation and at the top of the Western European standings, rode the German Sport Horse DSP Quantaz to runer-up on a score of 82.775%.
Nanna Skodborg Merrald, the top ranked Dane, and Blue Hors Zack were third on 81.385%.
The next and last qualifier in Western Europe is in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands Mar. 9-12.
