HELSINKI, Oct. 21, 2022–Jeanna Hogberg rode Astoria to victory in the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday for the fifth win to mark the first anniversary of Big Tour for the Swedish partnership.
Jeanna and the 10-year-old year old Swedish Warmblood mare scored 70.717% for the win. The duo competed at the world young horse championships in the five, six and seven-year-old divisions and moved up to Grand Prix a year ago.
Jennie Larsson, also of Sweden, and the 16-year-old KWPN geding Bonafide, were second on 68.565%.
Finland’s Elisabet Ehrnroot on Macacho, 11-year-old Swedish Warmblood gelding, were third on 66.131%.
