Cathrine Laudrup-Dufour and Vamos Amigos move up to No. 3 in the world just days before the world dressage championships start with Bohemian, the rider’s Olympic mount, at No. 2.

Cathrine and the 10-year-old Westfalen gelding Vamos Amigos climbed from sixth place in the International Equestrian Federation rankings as of the end of July.

Carina Cassøe Krüth and Heiline’s Danciera that will be on Denmark’s team with Cathrine and Vamos Amigos are ranked fourth, up from sixth the previous month.

Championship teammates Daniel Bachmann Andersen on Marshall-Bell are 11th up from 16th while Nanna Merrald Rasmussen and Blue Hors Zack stand at 508 as the pair have not competed since last October. Nanna, however, stands in 10th place on Orthilia.

Germany’s Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB remained atop the standings for the 12th straight month since the Olympics last July. The pair have not competed since the World Cup Final in April as Jessica is expecting her second child.
