The short list of four riders and six horses for the German team for the world championships in Herning, Denmark Aug. 6-10 was announced Monday.
The list:
• Ingrid Klimke, 54 years old, and Franziskus, 14-year-old Hanoverian stallion, owned by Wilhelm Holkenbrink
• Frederic Wandres, 35, and Duke of Britain FRH, 15-year-old British Hanoverian gelding, and Bluetooth OLD, 12-year-old Oldenburg gelding, both owned by Hof Kasselmann
• Benjamin Werndl, 38 as of July 20, and Famoso OLD, 13-year-old Oldenburg gelding, and Daily Mirror, 18-year-old Westfalen gelding, both owned by Flora Keller, Benjamin Werndl and Klaus Werndl
• Isabell Werth, 53 as of July 21, and DSP Quantaz, 12-year-old German Sport Horse stallion, owned by Victoria Max-Theurer and Madeleine Winter-Schultze
Reserve is Dorothee Schneider and Faustus
