KRONBERG, Germany, July 15, 222–Dorothee Schneider and Faustus, nominated for the German team at the world championships next month, won the Schahof CDI4* Grand Prix Friday.

Dorothee and the 14-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 74.044% for the win. The duo are on the list of eight nominated combinations for the championships in Herning, Denmark, of which four will be selected for the team.

Compatriots Hubertus Schmidt on Denoisx PCH, a 10-year-old stallion, placed second on 73.739%, Carina Scholz on Tarantino, a 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion, third on 73.326% and Juliane Brunkhorst fourth on 73.000%.

The USA’s Jan Ebeling and Bellena, a 12-year-old Hanoverian mare, posted a personal best score of 72.957% for fifth.
