GÖSSENDORF, Austria, April 16, 2022–Australia’s Olympic partnership of Simone Pearce and Destano won the CDI4* Grand Prix Freestyle Saturday for a double victory in the pair’s first Big Tour competition in this world championship year.
Simone and the 15-year-old Hanoverian stallion scored 77.770% for the musical performance in their first event since last September. The duo captured the Grand Prix Friday and now have recorded eight wins in two years at international Grand Prix.
Austria’s Ulrike Prunthaller on Bartlgut’s Quarz scored 76.435% for second, as they were on Frid,ay. Christian Schumach, also of Austria on Donna Karaco was third on 74.010%, also filling the same slot as in the Grand Prix.
Ulrike Prunthaller rode Bartlgut’s Quantum to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Special on 69.106% for an all-Austrian top placings.
Diana Porsche on Douglas were second on 67.808% with Jacqueline Toniutti on Stradivari third on 67.723%.
