WELLINGTON, Florida, Jan. 17, 2022–Victories on 19-year-old Millione in the CDI4* gave Jennifer Williams the money earning title in the opening week of the Global Dressage Festival with European riders making up five of the top 10 places.
Jennifer of Olympia, Washington earned a total of $5,775 with $5,500 on Millione in the Grand Prix and Freestyle and another $275 coming on Joppe K at Small Tour. Jennifer and Millione also posted a personal best 72.956% in the Grand Prix that was also the highest score so far of combinations seeking to ride for the United States at the world championships in Herning, Denmark in August.
Sweden’s seven-time Olympian Tinne Vilhelmson Silfvén who has competed at Global since its launching 11 years ago earned $3,500 while British team rider Susan Pape was close behind on $3,350.
Americans Ashley Holzer and Susan Dutta, both of Wellington rounded out the top five with $2,900 and $2,500, respectively.
