SINT TRUIDEN, Belgium, Juy 30, 2021–Fiona Bigwood of Great Britain and Hawtins Delicato won the CDI3* Grand Prix Special Friday for the third victory in eight starts in the past three months.

Fiona and the 13-year-old British-bred Hanoverian gelding scored 70.574% for the win, slightly ahead of Sweden’s Malin Wahlfkamp-Nilsson on Amplemento with 70.489%.

Belgium’s Charlotte Dafalque on Botticelli was third on 69.170%.

The Grand Prix Thursday was won by Austria’s Renate Voglsang on Fuerst Ferdinand zur Fasanenhoehe, 12-year-old Bavarian gelding, on a personal best 72.239%. Malin and Amplamento were second on 70.022% with Fiona and Hawtins Delicato, the 2018 World Equestrian Equestrian Games and 2019 European Championship mount of Carl Hester, third on 69.652%.
