ABRANTES, Portugal, May 23, 2021–Spain’s Jose Daniel Martin Dockx and Malagueno LXXXIII won the Grand Prix Special Sunday for a sweep of the CDI3*.

Dani and the 11-year-old P.R.E. scored 70.723% for the win a day after capturing the Grand Prix in only the second international Big Tour competition for the pair. Dani competed the U.S.-owned Grandioso for Spain at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics, the 2014 World Equestrian Games and the 2013 and 2015 European Championships.

Portugal’s Manuel Veiga on Ben Hur da Broa placed second on 67.170% with compatriot Martim Meneres on Equador third on 67.021%.
