MUNICH, Germany, May 13, 2021–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Ferdinand BB won the Pferd International CDI3* Grand Prix Thursday in only the German partnership’s second Big Tour competition.
Jessica and the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding scored 72.739% for the win, beating the 69.956% the pair earned in the first Big Tour competition in January. Jessica and Ferdinand competed in the World Young Horse Championships in 2014 and the Louisdor Prize, the German championship for young developing Grand Prix horses, in 2019.
The Netherlands’ Dinja van Liere on Haute Couture placed second on 72.435% with Germany’s Matthias Bouten on Meggle’s Boston third 72.587%.
