ANKUM, Germany, Nov. 1, 2020–Sweden’s Malin Wahlkamp-Nilsson rode the eight-year-old Dedale de Hus to victory in the Nürnberger Burg Pokal to claim the last of the series of 12 qualifiers for the Frankfurt Christmas final.
Malin and the Oldenburg gelding (Don Juan de Hus) scored 76.260% to become the fourth combination ridden by Scandinavians to claim a start at the final of the Prix St. Georges Special for horses seven to nine years of age. The others are Isabel Freese of Norway with two horses and Emma Kanerva of Finland.
Malin is a stable rider for Sweden’s leading competitor, Patrik Kittel, who is based in Germany.
