DONAUESCHINGEN, Germany, Aug. 29, 2020–Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and TSF Dalera BB won the CDI4* Grand Prix Saturday to log the sixth straight Big Tour victory for the German team gold medal pair.
Jessica and the 13-year-old Trakehner mare scored 80.826% to extend the winning streak to six going back to last November, but the schedule including the Olympics for which the pair likely would have been on the German team impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
The pair were on the gold medal teams at the Tryon World Equestrian Games in 2018 and the 2019 European Championships where they also took Freestyle bronze.
Benjamin Werndl, Jessica’s older brother, and Famoso OLD placed second on a personal best 76.891%, exceeding the previous high of 76.131% logged at this same event in 2019.
Frederic Wandres on Duke of Britain placing third on 74.696% completed the German sweep of the top three spots.
