WAYNE, Illinois, Aug. 23, 2020–Alice Tarjan rode Donatella M to the U.S. Developing Grand Prix championship Sunday and reserve champion on Harvest with the top two places in the Grand Prix. Alice also captured the four-year-old title on her home-bred Gjenganger at the Festival of Champions.

Alice of Frenchtown, New Jersey and the nine-year-old Oldenburg mare by Fürstenball scored 71.708% for the Grand Prix victory and 70.208% on Harvest, a nine-year-old KWPN stallion (Connaisseur x Ulft), the only scores above 70% in the lineup of 12 combinations.

Alice competed Donatella at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival in Wellington, Florida to win a leg of the Lövsta Future Challenge to qualify for the developing Grand Prix final that was deferred by the pandemic to the start of the 2021 circuit.

Jennifer Schrader-Williams of Roy, Washington and Millione, 17-year-old Danish Warmblood gelding, are the 2020 Grand Prix Champion, winning the Freestyle Sunday on 75.355% and the Special Saturday on 69.489%. The pair were second in the Grand Prix behind Alice Tarjan, who had been leading in Candescent but was eliminated.

Nora Batchelder of Williston, Florida on the American-bred W Gangster Girl, also 17 years old, scored 73.275% in the Freestyle to become reserve champion.
