BUDAPEST, Aug. 5, 2020–Morgan Barbançon rode Habana Libre A to victory in the CDI3* Prix St. Georges Wednesday that was the first international competition for France’s top ranked rider in more than five months.

Morgan and the eight-year-old KWPN gelding scored 72.265% in what was only the second Small Tour event for the pair that won the French championships for seven-year-olds in 2019.

Netherlands’ Dana van Lierop on Dodge Raider was second on 71.353% and Michaela Brötzner of Austria on Don Divino third on 68.735%.
