WELLINGTON, Florida, Feb 22, 2020–Ashley Holzer rode Mango Eastwood to victory in the Adequan Global Dressage Festival CDI3* Grand Prix Special Saturday, the third victory in four starts since the four-time Olympian began Big Tour competition with the horse last month.
Ashley and the 11-year-old KWPN gelding, owned by Diane Fellows, were awarded 71.979% for the win. The pair won both debut CDI starts at Global last month.
Compatriot Michael Pineo on Farrington placed second on 68.617% with Canada’s Megan Lane on Zodiac MW third on 66.787%.
“It was so fun,” she said, “an amazing horse. I’m very lucky to have such a great horse.”
She plans to compete Mango Eastwood next in mid-March.
