Vancouver K ridden by Judy Reynolds earned 53 marks of at least eight points at the Stuttgart, Germany World Cup as the horse that has been partnered in international competitions with Ireland’s top dressage rider for almost nine years is getting better with age, like a fine Macallan Irish whiskey.

The Dutch gelding is looking to go to his second Olympics when he will be 18 years old by the time of the Games in Tokyo next July.

Judy competed Vancouver K at the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro as well as the 2014 Normandy and 2018 Tryon World Equestrian Games. The pair have competed in three World Cup Finals so far, in Gothenburg, Sweden in 2016 and 2019 and in Omaha in 2017.

Judy and Vancouver K posted personal best Freestyle and Grand Prix scores at the European Championships three months ago as they pursue an invitation to the Final in Las Vegas in April.
