BRNO, Czech Republic, June 23, 2019–Germany’s Frederic Wandres on Westminster won the World Cup Grand Prix Freestyle Sunday in the first CDI musical performance for the pair.

Frederic and the 14-year-old Oldenburg gelding scored 75.265% for the win that gave the duo a double victory in only five starts at Big Tour over the past year.

Grete Ayache of Estonia on Farao da Raia placed second on 71.990% in what also was the pair’s first Freestyle in 10 starts at Grand Prix since the nine-year-old Lusitano gelding began Big Tour in February.

The order of finish for the top two Sunday matched the Grand Prix placings, 70.476% for Frederic and Westminster and 69.021% for Grete and Farao da Raia.
