EXLOO, Netherlands, Oct. 26, 2018–Adelinde Cornelissen and the home-bred Zephyr posted a personal best score to win the CDI3* Grand Prix Friday for the sixth victory of the year for the Dutch partnership.
Adelinde and the 14-year-old KWPN gelding (Jazz x Farmer) were awarded 71.652 per cent. The pair’s previous best Grand Prix result was 70.652 per cent set in May this year.
Morgan Barbançon Mestre of France and Bolero also posted a personal best to place second on 70.022 per cent. Morgan, who rode for Spain at the 2012 Olympics and 2014 World Games, competed Bolero at Under-25 and small tour for two years before starting Big Tour in May this year.
Belgium’s Fanny Verliefden on Indoctro V/D Steenblok was third on 69.826 per cent.
