NEU-ANSPACH, Germany, July 29, 2018–Thomas Wagner rode the nine-year-old Oldenburg gelding QC Fillipo Niro to victory at Dressurfestival Wintermühle to qualify for the year-end final of the Nürnberger Burg-Pokal, the German championship for small tour horses aged between seven and nine years.

Thomas and Fillipo Niro (Fidertanz x De Niro) scored 72.122 per cent for the win while the rider also placed third on Dark Pearl on 71.244 per cent. Sweden’s Malin Wahlkamp-Nilsson on Eddieni was second on 71.976 per cent.

Eight of the year’s 12 qualifiers have now been held with Verden International this week the next competition leading to the final in Frankfurt Dec. 13-16.
